Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Free IC38 Mock Test (“we”, “our” or “the platform”) collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use freeic38mocktest.in or the Free IC38 Mock Test Android application.

1. Information we collect

Required account information

• Full name
• Email address
• Firebase user ID and authentication provider
• Email-verification and account-registration status

Optional profile information

• Mobile number
• Insurance type
• Insurance company
• State
• Preferred exam centre and displayed centre address

Optional fields may be left blank and are not required to access free mock-test practice.

Activity and technical information

• Registration, login and profile-update date and time
• Mock-test progress, scores, bookmarks and result history stored locally on the user’s device
• Browser/device type, user agent, IP address and basic security or diagnostic information processed automatically by hosting and authentication providers
• Advertisement or external-link interactions where measured by the relevant third-party provider

2. How we use information

• Create, authenticate and manage user accounts
• Unlock Mock Tests 1–7 after free registration
• Save and update user profiles
• Provide customer support and respond to incorrect-question reports
• Protect the platform from fraud, abuse, scraping and unauthorized access
• Maintain service records and improve reliability and educational quality

3. Services and processors

Depending on the features enabled, information may be processed using:

• Google Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Firestore
• Firebase Hosting
• Google Sign-In
• Google Sheets and Google Apps Script for administrative registration records
• Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics only where separately enabled
• External promotional partners such as Angel One when a user voluntarily opens a clearly labelled external advertisement

External sites have their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control their services.

4. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell users’ personal information. Data may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate authentication, hosting, storage, security, support and administration. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform.

5. Passwords

Email/password authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We do not receive or store a readable copy of a user’s password in Google Sheets or Firestore.

6. Data retention

Active account information is normally retained while the account remains active. After a verified deletion request, the Firebase login and main profile are deleted immediately through the in-app deletion function where possible. Associated administrative records are queued for deletion within 7 working days. Limited security, fraud-prevention or legal records may be retained for up to 30 days or longer where required by law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

7. Account and data deletion

Logged-in users can use Profile → Delete Account & Data. Users who cannot sign in may submit a verified request through the public account-deletion page.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, Firebase security features and restricted administrative access. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children

The platform is intended for adult insurance-exam candidates and is not designed for children under 13. The intended target audience for the Android app is 18 years and above.

10. Promotional links

Clearly identified advertisements or promotional partner links may open an external website or app. We may receive a referral benefit from some links. External offers, eligibility, account creation, pricing and services are controlled by the external provider.

11. Your choices

• Leave optional profile fields blank
• Edit profile information
• Delete bookmarks and local app data by clearing browser/app storage
• Delete the account and associated data
• Contact us for access, correction or privacy questions

12. Contact

If the legal developer name shown in Google Play differs from the brand name above, the Play Store listing should also identify the same responsible developer and support contact.
